**Do you want to be part of the AI revolution?** Join Baidu’s SoC team in Sunnyvale and help build next-generation AI silicon and systems—focused on **unified memory space architecture** for Baidu AI accelerator SoCs. --- ## **Role Overview** We’re seeking a **Memory Subsystem Architect** who can provide technical leadership across the phases of Baidu’s AI SoC development, with a primary focus on designing a unified memory space for **thousands of accelerators** from the user’s perspective. --- ## **Key Responsibilities** - Develop **memory subsystem architecture and micro-architecture** to advance the state of the art for AI SoCs - Explore and evaluate architectural choices across **SoC fabrics, system caches, system coherency, and MMUs** - Partner with software and SoC design teams to define architecture and build a **unified memory space system** across distributed AI training - Collaborate with hardware design, verification, emulation, and validation teams to build and test the architecture for **performance and functionality** - Participate in **performance simulation**, analyze benchmarks/workloads, and identify microarchitecture optimization opportunities - Debug performance and functional issues across **high-level models, RTL simulation, and silicon** --- ## **Qualifications** - **10+ years** experience in silicon architecture or IP design, mainly focused on **memory subsystem** - Strong understanding of distributed AI training system requirements for SoC memory subsystems - Demonstrated experience in **HW digital design** and understanding of CPU/HW accelerators and/or peripheral design - Familiarity with **software and operating system** practices and memory system requirements - Experience with **system performance analysis and debug** in pre- and/or post-silicon environments - Solid background in **system interconnect, system MMUs, caches, and memory technologies** (e.g., HBM, GDDR, DDR, LPDDR4/5) - Experience with data analysis using **Excel, Perl, Python**, etc. - **Master’s or PhD** in Electrical or Computer Engineering - Excellent communication skills in **English and Chinese** --- ## **Culture Fit** - **Mission alignment:** We’ll provide the platform to help you accomplish the mission - **Self-directed:** Driven, motivated people who aspire to greatness - **Hungry to learn:** Eager to learn and grow - **Team orientation:** Small, fast-moving teams that go after big goals together #LI-DNI
