In this role, you’ll help build, maintain, and support core data warehouse solutions on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. You’ll collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate reporting requests into clean data models and **Looker** dashboards. This is an **entry-level** position and a **hybrid** role out of our **Somerville, MA** office. ### Responsibilities - **Data Pipelines & Modeling:** Assist in building and maintaining data models and tables in **Google BigQuery**; write and update foundational SQL transformation logic for business analytics. - **Business Analysis & Collaboration:** Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clean, structured tables and views. - **Business Intelligence:** Build, manage, and optimize **Looker** dashboards and reports so business users can access actionable data. - **Data Quality & Attention to Detail:** Ensure data integrity and consistency across data marts using validation queries and row-count checks. - **Pipeline Monitoring:** Monitor and maintain basic **Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer)** DAGs written in Python to ensure daily data loads run smoothly. - **Performance Basics:** Learn and apply query optimization techniques, including **BigQuery partitioning and clustering** best practices. ### Job Requirements - **Foundational SQL Skills:** Strong command of SQL (joins, aggregations, and familiarity with window functions).
