About this role
**Daymark Health — IT Manager** *Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company redefining the cancer care experience for patients, providers, and health plans.* > **Recruitment fraud warning:** Be cautious of recruitment fraud, and always confirm that communications are coming from an official Daymark Health email. --- ## About the Role As Daymark Health’s **IT Manager**, you will own the technology backbone that keeps our corporate teams and in-market care teams running smoothly every day. You’ll be comfortable architecting **secure, scalable IT infrastructure** and also working hands-on—troubleshooting a laptop or **EHR access** issue side-by-side with clinical staff. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build IT operations in a fast-moving healthcare startup—balancing the rigor required to protect patient data with the responsiveness clinical and operational teams need. --- ## What You’ll Do - **Design, implement, and maintain** Daymark’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, endpoint management, identity and access management, and core business systems. - Partner with **Clinical Operations, Product, People, and Market Operations** leadership to understand field technology needs and translate them into practical, scalable IT solutions. - **Evaluate, implement, and manage** relationships with IT support partners and vendors to ensure tools are cost-effective, secure, and fit for purpose as Daymark scales. - Serve as a **hands-on resource** for employees—resolving hardware, software, network, and access issues quickly with a service mindset (remote troubleshooting and, when needed, in-person support at regional offices). - Own and continuously improve **IT security practice** (endpoint security, access controls, data protection) to safeguard patient information and meet regulated-industry requirements. - Key ownership of **HIPAA compliance management**, **SOC 2 audits**, **disaster recovery plans**, and **cybersecurity/response management**. - Build and run **repeatable, well-documented processes** for provisioning/de-provisioning equipment and access for new hires and departing team members across corporate and clinical roles. - Develop, document, and enforce **IT policies and procedures** (acceptable use, data handling, incident response) suitable for a highly regulated environment. --- ## What We Are Looking For - **Experience:** 5+ years in IT management, systems administration, or a related technical role—supporting both corporate environments and a multi-site/field-based workforce. - **Regulated Industry Background:** Experience in a highly regulated industry required; **healthcare experience** (HIPAA-regulated environments, EHR systems, clinical technology) strongly preferred. - **Technical Depth:** Strong working knowledge of endpoint management, networking fundamentals, identity and access management, and IT security best practices. - **Service Orientation:** You enjoy solving problems for people—not just systems. You’re the person someone calls when their laptop won’t connect to the VPN. - **Builder Mentality:** Comfortable creating IT processes, policies, and documentation from scratch in a startup environment. - **Comfort with Ambiguity & Travel:** Willing to travel periodically to support regional care teams in person as needed. - **Communication:** Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues. - **Mission-Driven:** Care
