**Developer - NORTHWESTERN Talent Pool** **About the Role** Software Developers collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers and more to design software solutions that create meaningful change for clients. You'll listen thoughtfully to understand business problems and write clean, iterative code to deliver powerful results. **Key Responsibilities** • Learn and adopt best practices like clean code, TDD, pair programming and design patterns • Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to customers • Work in collaborative, value-driven teams to build innovative customer experiences • Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts and interactive prototypes • Partner with cross-functional teams advocating DevOps culture • Take ownership and accountability to deliver awesome results for clients • Apply latest technology thinking to solve client problems **Required Qualifications** **Technical Skills:** • 2+ years of development experience • Experience with one or more languages (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, C#, etc.) • Object-Oriented programming experience • Ability to write clean, high-quality code and improve bad code • Familiarity with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery • Knowledge of TDD, continuous integration and continuous delivery • *Bonus: Cloud technology experience (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)* **Professional Skills:** • Thrive in collaborative, non-hierarchical environments • Passion for learning and sharing knowledge • Resilient in ambiguous situations with multiple perspectives **About Thoughtworks** A leading technology consultancy delivering extraordinary impact for 30+ years.
