**Everpure — Forward Deployed Engineer, AI Systems** **THE ROLE** As a Forward Deployed Engineer on the Systems Product Management team, you will build the intelligence layer behind Everpure's FlashArray and FlashBlade roadmap decisions. You’ll work with product managers across the portfolio to translate complex, cross-system questions into production engineering solutions—leveraging applied AI and fleet-scale data engineering to shape the hardware we ship. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** - **Own engagements end-to-end:** Partner with product managers to scope ambiguous business questions and deliver solutions into production. - **Design and build the platform:** Deliver end-to-end capabilities across data and orchestration layers through to the interfaces product managers use. - **Build for trust:** Maintain high engineering standards so product managers can confidently base critical roadmap decisions on system output. - **Turn one-offs into capability:** Convert bespoke analyses into durable platform capabilities that expand self-service intelligence. - **Strengthen the data foundation:** Identify gaps where existing data can’t answer strategic questions and partner with data owners to close them. **WHAT YOU BRING** - **Production engineering craft:** Strong hands-on Python experience building and operating production software (HTTP APIs, relational schema design & migrations, containerized cloud deployments, version control, CI/CD, testing discipline, and ability to build usable interfaces). - **Data judgment at scale:** Advanced SQL proficiency with large analytical datasets (e.g., Snowflake) and the business acumen to evaluate data integrity and what questions data can accurately answer. - **Applied AI experience:** Proven experience shipping LLM-backed or agentic systems to real users, with rigorous evaluation practices to maintain system integrity as it evolves. - **Communication and influence:** Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, define tractable engineering problems, exercise technical judgment, and communicate readiness with credibility. - **Location:** Primarily in-office.
