**Engineering Manager, Care Delivery** **About Form Health** Form Health is a virtual obesity medicine clinic delivering evidence-based obesity treatment through telemedicine. Founded in 2019, we're a venture-backed startup with an experienced clinical and leadership team, on a mission to empower patients and lead in Obesity Medicine at a national scale. **About the Role** We're hiring a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Care Delivery in building business-critical clinical and operational systems. You'll combine strong people leadership with technical depth, guiding engineers who work on complex, safety-sensitive backend services, workflows, and integrations. We're an AI-native engineering org—you should be fluent in agentic software delivery (Claude Code, etc.) and practice delivery fundamentals like small-batch continuous delivery, feature flags, and tight feedback loops. **What You'll Do** *Team Leadership & Execution* • Lead and grow a small team delivering critical clinical and operational systems • Establish clear goals aligned with product and company priorities • Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement • Provide mentorship and career development for engineers at multiple levels • Raise the technical and delivery bar through pairing, code review, and coaching • Hire thoughtfully to strengthen team capability *Technical Leadership* • Guide architectural decisions for backend services, workflows, integrations, and internal tools • Maintain fluency with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React/Next.js, and AWS infrastructure • Ensure healthy CI/CD pipelines and safe deployment practices for healthcare • Champion small-batch continuous delivery with feature flags and tight feedback loops • Use DORA metrics to improve team throughput and stability • Identify and mitigate technical risks early *Clinical Workflow & Intelligent Systems* • Oversee systems supporting clinical charting, scheduling, task management, and care coordination • Ensure HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulatory requirements • Support thoughtful integration of automation and AI with human oversight *Cross-Functional Partnership* • Partner with product, clinical, and operations leaders on roadmaps • Balance delivery speed with operational reliability and platform health **About You** • 5+ years managing engineering teams with prior senior/staff engineer experience • Track record leading complex backend or workflow-heavy systems in production • Experience instilling delivery fundamentals and coaching team adoption • Hands-on fluency with agentic, AI-native development (Claude Code, etc.) • Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders • *Plus (not required):* Healthcare, clinical systems, workflow tooling, or regulated domain experience **Impact** Your leadership will shape how Form Health delivers care at scale, building systems that support secure patient communication, reliable workflows, scalable infrastructure, intelligent experiences, and safe experimentation. **Benefits** • Competitive salary and equity • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision) • 401k program • Flexible work schedules and PTO • Paid parental leave • Fully remote, US-based **Compensation** $180,000 – $200,000 USD base annual salary
