**Accenture Federal Services — Observability Engineer (Splunk)** ## Key Responsibilities - Engineer, configure, and optimize Splunk components (indexers, search heads, forwarders, deployment servers, etc.) to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across all environments. - Partner with application, security, and operations teams to design and implement searches, dashboards, reports, and alerts that provide actionable insights and support incident response. - Design and implement data onboarding for new sources, including inputs, parsing, field extractions, data models, and normalization to ensure data quality and consistency. - Analyze and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to confirm data is being collected, parsed correctly, and providing value—while tracking and optimizing data volume to manage Splunk license consumption. - Monitor and maintain the health of the observability infrastructure, implementing automation where possible for deployment, configuration management, and routine maintenance. ## Here’s What You Need - Experience with Splunk. ## Security Requirements - Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required (depending on position). ## Pay Range (Base) - **$81,000 — $154,700 USD** (states of CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, ME, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, OH, VT, VA, WA, and DC) *Note: Compensation varies based on factors including location, role, skill set, and experience.
