**Software Developer II, Pro Services** ## Who You Are You’re a seasoned software developer passionate about website development and building integrations. You have strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript), experience with software integrations, and a track record of delivering custom, branded solutions. You care about design detail and pixel-perfect execution, thrive in collaboration, and can manage multiple projects while keeping a client-first mindset. ## About the Role As a Professional Services Software Developer, you’ll be a client-facing technical expert who designs, develops, and delivers custom solutions that extend and enhance clients’ use of **Swoogo**. This includes branded event websites, third-party integrations, data transformation, and custom functionality. You’ll work with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions—advising on feasibility and approach, estimating effort, identifying risks/dependencies, and owning work through development, testing, deployment, and handover. ### Key Responsibilities - Develop responsive, accessible front-end solutions using **HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript** in a SaaS/digital agency environment. - Build and customize branded client websites on the **Swoogo** platform with strong attention to detail and brand consistency. - Optimize websites, integrations, and custom solutions for **performance, reliability, and cross-device/browser compatibility**. - Design, build, and maintain integrations using **REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware** to connect Swoogo with third-party systems (CRM, payments, SSO, marketing automation, etc.). - Read and work from API documentation to scope, architect, and troubleshoot integrations across platforms and auth schemes (OAuth, API keys, tokens). - Collaborate with internal teams and clients to customize functionality, map data models, and resolve technical challenges. - Write clean, maintainable code and create clear technical documentation. - Use **Git** and version control best practices. - Test and debug front-end builds, API calls, and webhook events to ensure quality and alignment with client requirements. - Gather requirements, clarify objectives, and develop project/technical specifications. - Assess feasibility, identify dependencies/risks, and provide effort estimates. - Serve as a technical advisor in client calls/meetings. - Provide training and guidance to clients on custom websites and integrations. - Manage multiple client projects simultaneously and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. - Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to internal stakeholders and clients. - Identify opportunities to improve workflows using automation, AI tools, or software customization—improving efficiency without sacrificing quality. ## What You’ve Done Before - **5+ years** of web development experience with strong front-end knowledge (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS). - Proven experience owning development and delivery for branded websites and software/integration projects. - Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework/language: **Vue.js, React, or TypeScript**. - Experience building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand goals and define requirements. - A quality-first mindset with a sharp eye for detail and a strong ability to meet deadlines. - Deep understanding of responsive design, **accessibility (WCAG)**, and performance best practices. - Exp
