We’re a Series A company founded in 2021, serving 250,000+ providers across all 50 states. ## About the Role We’re seeking a **Backend or Fullstack Developer** to help build and scale the core systems powering Brellium’s platform. For this role, we value experience deploying or integrating AI models into real-world applications. You’ll help shape the technology behind our AI-driven medical review platform and contribute directly to improving patient care across the U.S. ## What You’ll Do - Integrate modern LLMs into real-world applications in collaboration with Product - Design and build end-to-end systems (from data pipelines to user interfaces) - Build AI-centric systems optimized for performance and reliability - Create evaluation pipelines and define metrics to measure AI agents and workflows - Deliver high-quality features quickly through strong execution, collaboration, and adaptability - Contribute in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment where your ideas impact how care is delivered ## You’ll Be Great for This Role If You - Have **0–6 years** of experience as a Software Engineer (bonus: master’s focused on AI or related field) - Are proficient in **Python** and **TypeScript** - Have a track record building AI applications and architecting AI-centric systems with real-world impact - Are proficient with modern AI frameworks/APIs such as **LangChain** and **LlamaIndex** - Stay up to date on new models/tools and apply them to high-impact use cases - Have strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action - Are proficient with **SQL** and relational databases; comfortable owning end-to-end data workflows - Have **AWS** deployment experience and experience with modern LLMs (bonus: **React/Next.js**) - Thrive in fast-paced startup environments and communicate/collaborate effectively - Are excited to grow with an early-stage company and take on increasing responsibility ## Compensation **$140,000 – $200,000** Brellium offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, commuter benefits, and meaningful equity. ## Benefits Offered Include - 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan - Equity Compensation - Dinner provided via DoorDash & stocked kitchen for NY employees - Medical, Dental, and Vision (up to 100% premiums for you and your family) - HSA / FSA - 11 paid holidays - Unlimited PTO - Training and professional development - Hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 3 if located > 1 hour away) ## “One of Us” Values - **Bias to Action**: make reversible decisions quickly; reverse if needed - **Thinks for Themselves**: ask “why” until you reach base truth; use the best solution - **Negative Maintenance**: self-motivated, self-improving, disciplined, non-defensive - **Expect Excellence**: high and continuously rising standards; communicate trade-offs - **Communicate with Clarity**: concise, direct, purposefully communicated ## Safety Note (Fraud Prevention) Be aware of fraudulent job offers.
