The team leverages **sensor fusion** and **autonomy** to render activity into Lattice’s common operating picture. ## About the Job Anduril is looking for a **Software Engineer focused on Manufacturing** to join the team in **Costa Mesa**. You’ll build and maintain software for current and next-generation **Sentry Tower** systems, including: - **Automated test suites** to streamline hardware verification - **User-friendly interfaces** that help non-technical technicians diagnose issues - **Robust error-capturing** to provide actionable insights for troubleshooting and quality assurance Every tower ships only after passing through this software—making it the last chance to catch defects while fixes are still fast and inexpensive. ## What You’ll Do - Develop **automated test suites** to verify hardware functionality and performance - Create **user-friendly interfaces** for issue diagnosis by non-technical users - Implement **robust error-capturing mechanisms** for actionable troubleshooting insights - Collaborate with **hardware and QA teams** to integrate testing tools smoothly - Work directly with **technicians and manufacturing engineers** and optimize for their time - Continuously improve **testing frameworks** for efficiency and reliability ## Required Qualifications - Experience building **test automation, instrumentation, or tooling** for hardware; comfortable working on a bench with hardware - Proficiency in **Python** for test/tooling work, plus **2+ years in Rust or C++** for services under test - Strong networking fundamentals, including **CAN and Ethernet**; expertise with hardware interfacing and diagnostic tools (e.g., **Wireshark, CANoe**), plus cybersecurity principles for secure sensor data transmission - Strong engineering background (industry or school), ideally in **Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics** - **US person status required**, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a **US security clearance** ## Notes on Recruitment Scams (Important) Anduril warns of phishing/fraud schemes impersonating recruiters.
