Crusoe’s energy-first approach helps deliver faster, more sustainable AI infrastructure. ### About the Role The **Capacity Planning & Efficiency** team sits at the intersection of Crusoe’s products, services, and physical infrastructure. This role owns the **integrated planning system**—the connective tissue that turns long-range strategy into a committed, buildable, fundable plan. You’ll run the end-to-end planning rhythm across: - **GPU & accelerated AI fabrics** - **Compute** - **Storage** (File, Object, Block) - **Network** - **Data center power & space** This is a **single-pane-of-glass** role: you won’t own one resource domain—you’ll **reconcile demand signals against supply commitments**, hardware lead times, site readiness, and capital/operating budgets into one defensible plan. When supply is short, you’ll be the decision-maker leadership relies on to re-plan. You’ll partner directly with **Finance** to translate the capacity plan into **demand capex/opex forecasts**, and you’ll lead the re-planning moments when constraints, slips, or demand surprises arise. ### What You’ll Be Working On - **Long-Range Capacity Planning**: Own the multi-year outlook across GPU, compute, storage, network, and power/site energization schedules; build scenario models (demand cases, tech transitions, refresh/decommission waves). - **Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP)**: Run the end-to-end cycle—demand review, supply review, reconciliation, and executive decision forum. Maintain both unconstrained demand and constrained committed plan. - **Constraints & Bottleneck Planning**: Maintain a live model of what’s binding (silicon allocation, supplier lead times, power energization, rack/network availability, deployment labor) and drive mitigation decisions. - **Allocation & Arbitration**: Own the framework for prioritizing demand when supply is short, including escalation paths to leadership. - **Plan of Record & Operating Calendar**: Design and run the planning calendar across Cloud Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, Product, and Finance; govern commitment time fences and re-plan triggers. - **Demand & Bookings Translation**: Convert contracted commitments, backlog, ramp schedules, and on-demand growth into resource-level forecasts (including attach ratios linking GPU capacity to storage/network/compute). Own forecast accuracy/bias metrics. - **Supply Chain Integration**: Translate the plan into supplier commitments, purchase timing, and buffer strategy across global lead times and allocation constraints. - **Financial Integration**: Drive demand capex/opex forecasts from the capacity plan; own linkage to unit economics, depreciation schedules, and utilization targets. ### What You’ll Bring to the Team - **8+ years** in infrastructure capacity planning, IBP/S&OP, supply/demand planning, systems engineering, or technical program management—with end-to-end ownership of a recurring planning cycle. - **Breadth across resource classes** (compute, storage, network, accelerated computing) plus power/space/cooling constraints. - **Supply chain fluency**: lead times, supplier allocation, buffer strategy, and converting plans into committed purchase orders. - **Fi
