**Forward Deployed Engineer** **Position Overview** Work directly with strategic customers (general contractors) to solve critical problems end-to-end. Embed with customer teams, understand workflows, and ship solutions in their environment. High autonomy, high impact role combining software engineering, product thinking, and customer partnership. **What You'll Do** • Embed & ship: Work in customer instances, identify high-leverage problems, build full-stack solutions (React, Django, PostgreSQL) • Own outcomes: Define ambiguous problems, deliver scalable solutions, design systems for 10x usage • Bridge product ↔ customer: Inform roadmap through field work, convert solutions into platform capabilities • Full lifecycle: Discovery, system design, data modeling, infra, frontend, deployment, monitoring • Ensure reliability: AWS/GCP deployment, monitoring, debugging • Validate and scale: Prototype with real users, measure impact **You Are** • High-ownership: Comfortable with ambiguity, create clarity • Product-minded: Strong product judgment, partner effectively with design • Technically strong: System design, performance, architecture expertise • Full-stack: Frontend through infra, no handoffs • Fast learner: Adopt new tools quickly • Startup-focused: Value impact and speed, comfortable with customer-facing work • Reliable under pressure: Manage parallel priorities **Details** Full-time, in-person San Francisco.
