Backed by tier-1 investors with proven founder success. **The Role** Lead a team of Forward Deployed Software Engineers embedded across customer environments. Balance technical credibility with leadership—comfortable reviewing PRs and debugging integrations while presenting transformation roadmaps to VPs of Engineering. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead, mentor, and develop FDE teams across customer environments • Own senior relationships at key accounts (VP Engineering/Director level) • Serve as technical escalation point for complex integration challenges • Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical decisions • Stay hands-on: review code, contribute to integrations, debug issues • Build reusable delivery assets and best practices across the team • Partner with Product, Sales, and leadership on FDE growth strategy • Contribute field intelligence to shape product prioritization **Requirements** • 10+ years progressive software engineering experience (3+ in technical leadership) • Proven experience leading customer-facing, embedded, or professional services teams • Experience building delivery frameworks from scratch • Fluency: cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, AI/ML integration • Strong communication across all levels (engineer to VP) • Experience with IDEs and code-assistant tools • Background in high-growth startups, Forward Deployed Engineering, or technical account management • Track record building and scaling technical teams in outcome-driven environments **Compensation** $265,000–$285,000 + Bonus + Equity **Culture** Move fast, championship mindset, passion for invention, customer-focused.
