**Software Engineer New Grad, Machine Learning Platform** *Quora (Remote)* **About the Role** Join Quora's Machine Learning Platform team at the intersection of ML, distributed systems, and GPU serving. You'll work on infrastructure powering 100+ production ML models serving hundreds of millions of users. No previous ML infrastructure experience required—you'll learn from senior engineers with a dedicated mentor and ship to production within weeks. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and maintain core ML platform infrastructure for high availability and scalability • Develop distributed systems for serving ML models in production (LRMs, LLMs) • Optimize GPU model serving for latency, throughput, and cost • Improve ML developer velocity through tooling and platform initiatives • Modernize feature store and ML ecosystem • Participate in on-call rotation **Tech Stack** Python, Go, C++, PyTorch, Kubernetes/EKS, NVIDIA Triton, Ray, AWS **Minimum Requirements** • 2025 or 2026 graduate (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in CS/Engineering or related field) • Availability during coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm PT) • Genuine interest in distributed systems, infrastructure, and ML • Knowledge of Python, Go, or C++ (or ability to learn quickly) • Passion for learning and continuous improvement **Preferred Qualifications** • Internship or work experience in software engineering • ML framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow) • Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS exposure • Low-level performance work (profiling, benchmarking, optimization) **Compensation (2025)** • US: $97,600 - $139,000 USD + equity + benefits • Canada (Toronto/Vancouver): $125,320 - $142,783 CAD + equity + benefits • Canada (other): $116,965 - $133,264 CAD + equity + benefits **Location** Remote (Canada or US) 📋 Apply at careers.quora.com
