**Systems Engineer, Space Emerging Talent** *Anduril Industries | Costa Mesa, CA* **About the Role** Join Anduril's Space team as an Early Career Systems Engineer to work at the intersection of hardware, software, and mission operations. You'll help design, build, test, and field next-generation spacecraft and ground architectures while gaining comprehensive exposure across the entire lifecycle of space programs. **What You'll Do** • Support breakdown and tracing of mission needs into functional requirements and Interface Control Documents • Perform system-level trade studies (mass, power, link budget, delta-V, thermal margins) • Prepare technical data packages for major milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) • Collaborate on functional checkouts and environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMI/EMC) • Work across flight software, GNC, payload, and ground C2 teams • Maintain system budgets and verification matrices **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field • 0-2 years of professional, internship, or hands-on project experience (CubeSat teams, rocketry, etc.) • Baseline understanding of spacecraft subsystems and systems engineering lifecycle • Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Excel, or CAD software • Strong communication skills • Eligible to obtain U.S. Top Secret security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** • Hands-on experience with small satellites, payloads, or autonomous systems • Familiarity with spacecraft testing standards (SMC-S-016, NASA GEVS) • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) exposure • Hardware-software integration and FlatSat experience **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 $99,000 – $130,000 USD Competitive equity grants and comprehensive benefits package included *Anduril is committed to maintaining recruitment integrity.
