**Sr Technical Program Manager, Mathematical Software** **About the Role** Oversee development, execution, and delivery of Battlespace Awareness software for critical programs. Ensure all technical, functional, and business requirements are met. This role requires strong technical background in software development, particularly optimization and estimation, plus experience managing complex projects with multiple sub-teams and stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** • **Project Leadership & Strategy** – Develop detailed project plans covering feature development, testing, deployment, and monitoring; establish clear objectives aligned with program needs • **Technical Expertise** – Maintain deep understanding of algorithms and software interfaces for battle management, threat prediction, tracking, and classification • **Documentation & Process Improvement** – Maintain comprehensive project documentation and continuously improve management processes • **Release Management** – Oversee planning and execution of software releases; ensure quality standards before deployment • **Stakeholder Communication** – Serve as primary point of contact for project communications; provide regular status updates and presentations • **Resource Allocation** – Assess and allocate personnel, software, and hardware; monitor utilization and adjust as needed • **Risk Management** – Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; regularly update risk management plans • **Cross-Functional Collaboration** – Work across divisions to ensure software meets integration requirements and program priorities **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field • Extensive project management experience in software development • Understanding of optimization, applied probability, and AI/ML technology • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience with Army Air & Missile Defense, USMC Ground Based Air Defense, SOCOM, DHS CBP, or allied defense organizations • Working knowledge of counter-UAS and air surveillance landscape • Experience developing mathematical software (optimization solvers, estimation engines, simulation frameworks, applied probability models)
