**Production Hardware Test Engineer** **About the Job** As a Laser/Camera Test Engineer, you’ll ensure our systems are tested to stringent standards so we consistently ship the highest-quality products. You’ll solve difficult testing problems, continuously improve automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics, and collaborate with fast-paced, highly technical, interdisciplinary teams to resolve production issues. **What You’ll Do** - Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow - Perform hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex infrared systems issues found during testing - Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream (system-level checkouts/acceptance testing through key component in-process validation) - Generate test work instructions for technicians in MES and train technicians on equipment use - Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides/diagrams - Maintain and develop software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation - Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions (RCCA) - Partner with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to support customer returns and failure analysis - Provide feedback into early-stage test design for NPI (early-stage products) - Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed reports to identify defects and improvement opportunities - Collaborate with design engineers on product enhancement recommendations based on test outcomes - Optimize test strategies to reduce test time without compromising quality - Maintain and calibrate test equipment for precision and reliability - Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance testing processes and methodologies **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields - 3+ years of relevant industry experience, with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment - Experience with data acquisition and processing using MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages - Experience with test automation and report generation - Strong root cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware - Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills - Experience integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance **Preferred Qualifications** - Knowledge of infrared systems, including performance requirements and verification methodologies - Experience with cryogenic testing equipment - Familiarity with test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, thermal chambers, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition, and measurement sensors - Experience with computer hardware communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc.) **Salary Range (US)** - **$98,000 – $130,000 USD** (base salary estimate; equity and benefits may be included as part of total compensation) **Benefits** - Comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to employees) - For more information: https://www.anduril.com/careers **Protecting Yourself from Recruitment Scams** - Anduril will never solicit payment or request sensitive personal financial details during hiring. - Verify emails: direct recruiter emails come from **@anduril
