Powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system, Anduril delivers cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military. **About The Team** The Sentry Tower Software team develops robotic systems providing force protection capabilities for secure perimeters. These systems leverage advanced sensor fusion and autonomy to render environmental activity to Lattice's common operating picture. **About The Role** Own simulation and hardware test infrastructure for robotic systems running on NVIDIA Jetson compute. You'll design and build the functional test suites, scenario libraries, and diagnostic tooling that verify towers before deployment. Work across both software-in-the-loop (SITL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environments to ensure regressions are caught in CI, not in the field. **Key Responsibilities** • Own and grow SITL environments with product variants, scenarios, and faithful sensor pipelines • Build functional coverage on HITL benches for motion control, sensor bring-up, firmware updates, and recovery scenarios • Own CI integration end-to-end: scheduling, dependency chaining, artifact capture, and flake triage • Scale test platform with new compute generations, payloads, and product variants • Make failures diagnosable from CI output alone through comprehensive logging and artifacts • Partner with hardware and manufacturing teams to build physical HITL benches • Support firmware, platform, and business line teams in adding tests to your framework **Required Qualifications** • 4+ years professional software engineering with meaningful test infrastructure, CI, or hardware simulation experience • Proficiency in Python for test authoring; working ability in Rust or C++ • Experience automating tests against physical hardware (provisioning, power control, serial consoles, network booting) • Strong CI/CD engineering skills with expensive stages and hardware resource contention • Experience with declarative configuration (Nix/NixOS preferred; Bazel, Buildroot, Yocto, Terraform, Ansible acceptable) • Solid Linux systems fundamentals (systemd, networking, filesystems, boot) • Judgment to know which tests are worth their cost; discipline to fix or delete flaky tests • US person status with eligibility for US security clearance **Nice To Have** • Robotics or vehicle simulation experience (Unreal, Unity, Gazebo, Isaac Sim) • NVIDIA Jetson provisioning and flashing workflows • Virtualization and VM-based integration testing with GPU passthrough • Hardware test engineering or manufacturing test systems background • CAN, serial protocols, or bus-level diagnostic tooling experience **Compensation** $192,000 – $292,000 USD Competitive equity grants and top-tier benefits included for full-time employees. **Learn More** https://www.anduril.com/sentry
