**iOS Software Engineer** **About ActAI** Building proactive, AI-native applications for billions of users. Our mission is to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organizing, and workflows with minimal prompting—focusing on reliability, persistent context, and real-world task completion. **The Role** Own the iOS client experience. Build production-grade iOS applications where AI interactions are central to the product. This is hands-on work where performance, reliability, and user trust are critical. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI • Integrate AI-powered features through backend APIs • Design UX patterns for AI interactions (loading states, streaming, retries, fallbacks) • Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency • Capture user signals and feedback for AI evaluation • Collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API design • Maintain high App Store quality and production reliability **Ideal Experience** • 3+ years iOS development with Swift • Experience integrating AI features into mobile apps • Strong async/await, concurrency, and background task knowledge • iOS performance and memory optimization skills • Shipped and maintained production iOS apps • Comfortable designing for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior • CoreML or on-device ML exposure • Feature flags or remote configuration experience • Strong intuition for AI UX and user trust **Tech Stack** Swift • SPM • SwiftUI • SQL/NoSQL • TensorFlow Lite **Interview Process** 3-4 virtual and/or onsite interviews conducted by technical team members. Prompt decision-making and transparency throughout.
