**Machine Learning Platform Engineer** **About ActAI** Building proactive, AI-native applications for billions of users. We focus on high reliability, persistent context, and real-world task completion. **The Role** Build the infrastructure and systems powering ActAI's AI capabilities. Design and operate systems for model training, evaluation, deployment, inference, observability, and continuous improvement. Work closely with AI engineers, researchers, and product teams to create reliable, scalable, cost-efficient production systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and operate ML infrastructure and platforms for AI products • Design systems for model training, evaluation, deployment, and experimentation • Optimize model serving and inference for high-throughput, low-latency workloads • Develop reliable pipelines for data preparation, training, evaluation, and continuous improvement • Build platforms enabling rapid experimentation and model shipping • Develop evaluation, benchmarking, and production observability infrastructure • Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the ML stack **Tech Stack** Python • PyTorch/JAX • LLM serving (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM) • Cloud infrastructure • Distributed systems • ML/data pipelines • GPU infrastructure • Vector databases **Ideal Experience** • Strong software engineering fundamentals and production systems experience • ML infrastructure, platforms, or production ML systems background • Model deployment, inference, evaluation, or data pipeline experience • Distributed systems and system reliability expertise • Clean, maintainable, production-quality code • Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Ownership and continuous improvement mindset
