We’re a global team (20+ nationalities) with offices and remote opportunities. **THE ROLE** We’re looking for an **Engineering Manager** to lead a high-performing engineering team building and scaling products used by millions across the region. You’ll be a strong technical leader who can guide engineers, make sound architecture and engineering decisions, and drive products and systems from idea to production. You’ll own both: - **Engineering team quality** - **Quality and speed of what the team ships** You’ll operate across **people, product, and technology**—setting a high engineering bar while staying focused on real customer and business outcomes. **WHAT YOU’LL OWN** - Lead and manage engineers across **frontend, backend, and full stack** development - Own engineering delivery for major product areas—ship quickly without compromising reliability or technical quality - Partner with **product, design, mobile, backend, and AI** teams to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical execution - Drive technical architecture across **APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems** - Set engineering standards for **code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability** - Stay close to technical work via **architecture reviews, code reviews, debugging, and critical decisions** - Develop engineers through **feedback, coaching, performance management, and clear expectations** - Identify performance gaps early and raise the team’s engineering/execution bar - Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation to move faster and scale - Own production outcomes beyond release: **monitor systems, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent repeats** - Build an engineering culture focused on **ownership, speed, technical excellence, and continuous improvement** **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** - Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping **real production systems** - Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery - Strong technical depth across **backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure** - Ability to make sound architecture and technical trade-offs balancing **speed, scalability, and maintainability** - Track record taking products/systems from **idea → development → launch → production**
