Since 2019, we’ve built a mobile-first insurance platform that’s now the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia. We’re expanding into more ways to support customers across spending, saving, investing, exchanging, traveling, and more. **The Role** We’re looking for a **Mobile Developer** to build the **native Android experience** for BJAK’s **AI Finance Agent**. This role is for strong mobile builders who can ship **clean, reliable, intuitive** mobile experiences—whether your strength is **Android, iOS, or both**. **What You’ll Build** - Build mobile features across **Android, iOS, or cross-platform flows** based on your strengths. - Create clean user journeys for **onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, FX**, and **AI-assisted features**. - Go from **product problem → shipped mobile experience** (not just assigned screens). - Collaborate with **backend, design, product, and AI teams** to launch reliable customer-facing features. - Improve app quality using **production feedback, analytics, crash reports, and user behavior**. - Raise the bar for **mobile UX, reliability, and speed** across the product. **What We’re Looking For** - Strong mobile development experience in **Android, iOS, or both**. - Experience shipping **production mobile apps used by real users**. - Strong **product sense**, **UX judgment**, and attention to **edge cases**. - Ability to work across **APIs, releases, debugging, and production issues**. - Hands-on builder who can take ownership with **minimal guidance**. - Clear evidence of shipped work (e.g., **app links, GitHub, screenshots, or project explanations**). **The Bar** We want engineers with real technology career highlights—where you **personally helped build, ship, or scale** a serious product, platform, or system. **This Role Is Not For** - Engineers who only want **fully defined tickets**. - Developers who build **screens without caring about UX**. - People who ignore **crashes, edge cases, loading states, or performance**. - Engineers who move slowly in a **startup environment**. - People who exaggerate impact without explaining their **actual contribution**. **Location** - **Remote**, but candidates **must be based in the United States**. **Language** - **English** is required (strong communication). **Interview Process** 1.
