**Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Product focus, AIaaS)** **About the Role** Join Roblox's AIaaS team to build production systems enabling safe and reliable deployment of cutting-edge 3D and 4D generative AI models. Design and scale robust, high-performance product infrastructure for orchestrating complex workflows that produce high-fidelity 3D and 4D textured meshes. **You Will:** • Design, build, and own critical components of product infrastructure supporting generative AI efforts • Develop intuitive, developer-facing APIs for democratizing 3D creation • Build seamless integrations with Pricing, Orchestration, and Safety subsystems • Implement robust pipelines for dataset collection and evaluation • Collaborate with Product Managers and partner teams across Roblox • Drive improvements in backend infrastructure architecture and engineering best practices • Ensure data quality and governance through automated checks and monitoring **You Have:** • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong system design expertise for building scalable, reliable platforms • Experience architecting and developing complex, high-scale distributed systems • Passion for generative AI, particularly in creative domains like 3D/4D content • Proficiency in Python, C#, or Go • Experience with cloud data platforms and distributed processing (Kubeflow, Temporal, S3, etc.) • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams **Compensation & Location** San Mateo, CA headquarters | Onsite Tue-Thu (Mon/Fri optional) Salary: $243,290 – $295,250 USD + equity + benefits *Roblox is an equal opportunity employer.
