## Enterprise MuleSoft Integration Engineer / Architect (Clearance Required) ### Overview LMI is seeking an experienced, hands-on **Enterprise MuleSoft Integration Engineer / Architect** to support **Project Manager Logistics-Finance (PM LOG-FIN)** and the **U.S. Army** with digital modernization and integration initiatives. This role will lead the design, development, deployment, scalability, and central management of a unified, enterprise-wide **MuleSoft Anypoint Platform**. You will help evolve an enterprise data hub and gateway solution that securely exposes **APIs and data services** across Army logistics and financial **ERP systems**, authoritative data sources, and external trading partners—modernizing complex legacy integrations into scalable, modular, **API-led services**. ### Responsibilities - **Enterprise Architecture & Platform Evolution** - Architect, design, build, and centrally manage an enterprise-grade, scalable MuleSoft platform/runtime. - Establish and scale a centralized **enterprise data hub** and **enterprise gateway** for modular APIs and secure data services. - Support multi-program enablement and testing workflows; architect environment configurations for concurrent partner testing and sandbox work. - Modernize legacy point-to-point and batch integrations into **System/Process/Experience API** layers. - **Hands-on API Design & Integration Development** - Act as the technical lead for API management across disparate instances and runtime environments. - Design and maintain API specifications and interface agreements using **RAML, OpenAPI, JSON, XML, WSDL**, and modern interface definitions. - Build complex, high-performance data transformations and mappings using **DataWeave**. - Integrate enterprise applications and systems including **SAP-based Army systems**, financial ledgers, **Salesforce**, **ServiceNow**, relational databases, message brokers, and transactional systems. - Explore modern integration capabilities such as **event-driven architectures** and messaging (e.g., **Anypoint MQ, Kafka, JMS**), including AI-enabled integration/data capabilities. - **Security, DevSecOps, & Infrastructure Operations** - Implement gateway-enforced traffic/protection policies aligned to DoD and Army cybersecurity requirements. - Apply identity and security controls including **OAuth, mTLS, PKI/certificates, secrets management, and RBAC**. - Configure and maintain **CI/CD** pipelines for gateway/environment-specific configurations, policy/contract analysis. - Support deployments across **CloudHub / CloudHub 2.0**, **Runtime Fabric (RTF)**, containerized environments (**Docker, Kubernetes**), on-prem, and **cArmy/AWS GovCloud**. - Implement end-to-end observability: distributed logging, alerting, telemetry, and root-cause analysis. - **Collaboration, Governance, & Technical Leadership** - Produce and maintain technical artifacts (architectural blueprints, **ICDs**, API specs, data flow diagrams, deployment runbooks, governance standards). - Guide other Army programs on integration/testing services, best practices, onboarding criteria, and sandbox utilization. ### Qualifications **Required Qualifications** - **Active Secret security clearance** (only **U.S. Citizens** can obtain a clearance) - Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience) - Baseline certifications (e.g., **Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP**, or equivalent) and/or
