**Technical Project Manager III (TPM)** Verisign helps enable the security, stability, and resiliency of the internet. We are seeking a **Technical Project Manager III (TPM)** to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a hands-on, high-visibility role requiring technical expertise and cross-functional responsibility. --- ### Key Responsibilities - Direct large-scale, complex projects involving multiple matrix partners - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders - Implement and manage initiatives across various platforms - Communicate project expectations clearly and on time; keep teams “in sync” on communication, schedules, and issues - Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, balancing complexity, risk, and business criticality - Identify, mitigate, prioritize, and resolve project issues, constraints, dependencies, and risks - Develop and monitor project budget vs. actual expenses - Create and manage the project plan/roadmap, including tasks, dependencies, and critical paths - Champion continuous improvement of PM best practices to increase organizational effectiveness - Manage changes to schedule, budget, and scope through change control - Facilitate resolution of technical issues and present/speak technical information to different audiences --- ### Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of progressively responsible experience on large-scale software development projects (commercial environment preferred) - 3+ years managing software projects of significant scale and complexity (multiple sub-teams, financial project management, cross-divisional involvement) - Basic understanding of J2EE technologies and distributed architectures - Experience developing executive dashboards, investment summaries, or portfolio reporting - Strong facilitation skills; experience coordinating leadership-level reviews and decisions - Demonstrated experience coordinating complex cross-functional processes across multiple stakeholders and approval levels - Experience in Requirements Analysis and/or Consulting - Background with highly available, back-end, transaction-intensive OLTP systems and API interfaces --- ### Location & Work Model - Based in **Reston, VA** - **Hybrid** work schedule --- ### Compensation - Pay range: **$108,900 – $147,300** - Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance - Certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards --- Verisign is an equal opportunity employer.
