**Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Product (TS/SCI Required)** **About Vannevar** Vannevar builds AI systems for the Department of War's most consequential missions, with 125 deployments across every branch and combatant command. Engineers deploy forward with operational units to solve real mission problems. **About the Role** You'll help expand an agentic system that helps operators make sense of high-volume mission data and act with greater speed and confidence. The system analyzes millions of mission-relevant records to surface high-fidelity recommendations and decision-ready outputs while integrating into existing customer workflows. **What You'll Do** • Own mission problems end-to-end: from understanding user workflows through production deployment • Architect and build products deployed directly to customer environments for mission-critical use cases • Work directly with users and senior technical stakeholders to understand mission needs • Write substantial production code across the full stack • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and domain experts on complex features • Support government-facing technical artifacts (RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, white papers) • Navigate government IT ecosystems and ensure compliance with security requirements • **Travel up to 50%** to engage with mission owners in the field (NYC-based role) **What You Should Have** • 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer (Postgres, Redis, S3, React, etc.) • Strong technical judgment and ability to own ambiguous problems • Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance • Experience interfacing with government IT systems • Experience scoping technical requirements with government stakeholders • User research and product feedback experience • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • **Active U.S. TS Security clearance with SCI Eligibility (required)** **What We Offer** • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Remote-friendly with WeWork access • Unlimited PTO + company-wide downtime • 401(k) match • Lifestyle & wellbeing stipends • Fully paid parental leave • Child and pet care reimbursement during travel Vannevar is an equal opportunity employer.
