**Staff Technical Program Manager, Security + IT** **About the Role** Technical Program Managers in the Security and IT organization manage company-wide programs, guide cross-team projects, and accelerate roadmap execution. This Staff TPM role reports to the Director of TPM and drives security, IT, and compliance programs in a fast-moving, high-scrutiny environment. **What You'll Do** • Work with Security Engineering, IT, Legal, Privacy, and cross-functional teams on detection & response, identity & access management, and endpoint/device management • Manage multiple complex programs with competing timelines and resource needs • Develop ownership models for code, products, and programs • Build and run Security and IT programs with compliance-centric mindset • Partner with leadership on control environment maturity (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) • Drive BYOD/MDM, identity & access, and vendor risk management programs • Improve security for users and company • Streamline Security Incident Management processes **What You Have** • 8+ years of Technical Program/Product Management with Security, IT, or Infrastructure teams • Experience with core Security programs (Vulnerability Management, AppSec, Incident Response) • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS) • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Trust & Safety, Legal, and Privacy • Track record moving technical programs from concept to completion • Ability to break down complex challenges into workable components • Comfortable presenting risk posture and program status to C-suite **Bonus Points** • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical experience • Security/compliance certifications (CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CISA) • Familiarity with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, IAM platforms) • Detection & response or SOC support experience • Public-company readiness experience (SOX/ICFR, access reviews) • Strong customer empathy balancing user trust and company needs **Compensation** US base salary: $248,000 - $279,000 + equity + benefits **Why Discord?** Discord plays a uniquely important role in gaming's future.
