### Application Developer - Senior (Remote) **Type:** Full-Time | **Location:** Fully Remote **Clearance:** Secret Clearance **Certifications:** - Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., **Sec+ / CE**) - **SAFe Agile** certification or an industry-recognized equivalent --- ### Overview Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a **Senior Application Developer** to build **enterprise-scale software solutions** from requirements developed with **Business Analysts** for a potential federal opportunity. You will work within the organization’s application development framework, collaborating with Business Analysts and Systems Architects to develop and implement **third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries**. This role supports **web, API, and mobile** capabilities and applies project-specific tools and techniques. --- ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain **enterprise-scale applications** that fulfill documented business requirements. - Collaborate with **Business Analysts** to clarify requirements and translate business needs into working software. - Work with **Systems Architects** to select, develop, and implement **third-party applications, tools, and libraries**. - Develop **web-based and mobile solutions** using appropriate technologies, including: - **Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript** - **SOAP, REST APIs**, and web-based APIs - Build and integrate **APIs** that support **low-code/no-code** development platforms and related workflows. - Use **BPMN (business process modeling notation)** and low-code/no-code tools to develop **application and process automation** solutions. - Apply **Agile** and **hybrid low-code** development practices. --- ### Required Qualifications - **5+ years** of total work experience in software development. - Experience developing **enterprise applications** using web, API, and mobile technologies (including **Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST APIs**). - Experience with **APIs** that support **low-code/no-code** development platform models. - Experience using **low-code/no-code BPMN tools** to model business processes and develop automation software. - Experience with low-code tools such as **Appian, Salesforce, or Nintex**, plus **Microsoft SQL Server** and the **Microsoft .NET** development environment. - Experience in **Agile** and **hybrid low-code** application development. - Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. --- ### Education - **BS** in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. --- ### Salary **$120,000 – $175,000 annually** *The salary range is a guideline; final offers depend on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.* --- ### About Nationwide IT Services (NIS) NIS is a **CVE-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business** and an IT and management consulting company.
