Wiz protects the infrastructure of customers including over 65% of the Fortune 100, scanning and securing over 230 billion files daily. ### Minimum qualifications - 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations work in cloud environments. - Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent experience in Azure and GCP with some level of AWS experience). - Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, or AKS) and strong container security principles. - Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale. - Experience leading technical security reviews, conducting threat modeling, and translating findings into actionable security controls. - Practical understanding of web application security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top-10). - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi. - Experience with automation and tooling development in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego. ### Preferred qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related) and/or equivalent experience. - Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams. - Experience in organizations that develop software and/or operate managed infrastructure/services for customers. - Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions. ### Responsibilities - Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz products and cloud infrastructure; identify attack surfaces and develop scalable mitigations. - Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling to help teams “shift left” and integrate end-to-end security into workflows. - Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. - Drive vulnerability management and remediation: prioritize issues, implement mitigations, and design preventative controls across the software supply chain from development through production. - Extend detection and response capabilities: build scalable solutions to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and investigate/remediate incidents. - Collaborate with the Wiz Federal team to extend DevSecOps and Product Security practices for Wiz’s FedRAMP environment and ensure key security requirements are met. - Build strong partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions. ### Compensation + Benefits Compensation for this full-time role includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits.
