You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver delightful, cutting-edge web experiences for millions of Pinners. This is an opportunity to shape the future of inspiration by owning projects end to end, solving complex problems, embracing new technologies, and caring deeply about user experience. **What you’ll do** - **Build for Impact:** Create and launch user-facing features for **Desktop and Mobile Web**. - **Full Product Ownership:** Contribute across the lifecycle—from rapid prototyping and **A/B testing** to architecting, building, and scaling. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with design, product, and backend to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality. - **Drive Innovation:** Advocate for Pinners with new ideas and features; use product sense to shape what’s next. - **Quality Engineering:** Use automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code. - **Mentor & Connect:** Mentor teammates, lead code reviews, and contribute to technical decisions. - **Leverage AI Thoughtfully:** Use AI for rapid prototyping, synthesis, and documentation—while validating results to ensure speed, quality, and innovation. **What we’re looking for** - Deep understanding of **web development** and best practices in **React/Redux** - **5+ years** building web applications for consumer or business-facing products - Experience writing reliable, maintainable code used by many engineers - Ability to stay current with new technologies and determine what to adopt - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent experience - Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow - Strong track record of critically evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work (testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review) - High integrity and ownership: protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions **Relocation & In-Office Requirements** - **Relocation:** Not eligible for relocation assistance. - **In-Office:** Occasional onsite collaboration (**1–2 times per quarter**). You can be located anywhere in the **US**. **Compensation (US based applicants only)** - **Base salary range:** **$149,600 – $308,000 USD** - Equity eligibility also applies.
