Rowe Price, and other leading investors. **About the Role** We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on **Manager of Technical Program Management** to lead the TPM team supporting Nuro’s **AI Platform** organization. AI Platform builds the offboard and onboard systems that accelerate autonomy development and enable reliable deployment. Work spans the data flywheel (data collection, data mining, training, simulation, evaluation), as well as onboard firmware, middleware and services, cloud services, and fleet operations tooling. You will develop a team of TPMs and drive complex programs across engineering, product, operations, and external partners—combining people leadership with direct ownership of critical programs. Success means faster development, more reliable systems, and readiness to deploy across vehicle platforms and commercial programs. **About the Work** - **Lead and develop the TPM team**: Set clear expectations for technical depth, ownership, and execution. Coach TPMs, manage performance and career development, hire strong talent, and align team assignments with the highest-priority needs. - **Drive critical programs directly**: Personally lead selected programs requiring substantial technical judgment or cross-team coordination. Turn ambiguous goals into defined scope, milestones, accountable owners, and measurable outcomes. - **Shape priorities and execution plans**: Partner with engineering and product leaders to connect platform roadmaps to autonomy development and deployment goals. Surface resource constraints, sequence dependencies, and resolve trade-offs. - **Resolve technical and organizational blockers**: Participate in design reviews, integration planning, and issue investigations to understand root causes and drive decisions. - **Drive integration and deployment readiness**: Coordinate requirements, interfaces, testing, release gates, rollout plans, and operational readiness across onboard software, offboard services, and partner systems. - **Manage execution with external partners**: Align vehicle manufacturers, technology suppliers, and commercial partners on deliverables, responsibilities, acceptance criteria, and schedules. - **Improve how the organization executes**: Establish practical planning and review processes, use metrics to identify bottlenecks, and apply AI tools/automation to reduce repetitive coordination and reporting. **About You** - **8+ years** experience in technical program management, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline, including ownership of complex programs across multiple teams. - **2+ years** direct people-management experience, with demonstrated success developing TPMs or engineers and addressing performance gaps. - Strong technical dep
