## IT Security Operations Manager (Direct Hire) — Glens Falls, NY **Position Type:** Direct-hire • **Work Model:** 100% onsite **Compensation:** $90K–$100K + potential bonus **Benefits (highlights):** Pension, 401(k), employee stock ownership, medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off (vacation/sick + Wellness & Volunteer Time Off), free therapy visits, mental health coaching/tools, meditation resources, and more. --- ## Overview Connection is seeking an **IT Security Operations Manager** to oversee daily security operations, lead a team of security professionals, and help maintain a strong enterprise security posture. --- ## Responsibilities - Oversee **security monitoring** and **incident response** - Lead **vulnerability management** and **threat hunting** - Drive **security reporting** and cybersecurity initiatives - Manage and develop a **Security Operations** team - Manage enterprise security tools including: - **SIEM**, **SOAR** - **EDR/XDR** - Vulnerability management - **DLP** - Apply cybersecurity frameworks and support regulatory compliance, including: - **NIST**, **CIS**, **PCI DSS**, **HIPAA**, **SOX** - Collaborate across infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams --- ## Required / Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - **6+ years** in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field - **2+ years** supervisory experience (preferred) - Strong analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills - Experience managing enterprise security technologies and security operations programs - Familiarity with: - **Windows, Linux, Active Directory** - **Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365 security** --- ## Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Connection is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. --- ## Note on Job Posting Safety Because of potential fraudulent postings, Connection will **never** offer employment without a complete interview process and communication with a **“live person.”**
