They develop **secure Software Factories** using DoD reference designs and NIST frameworks for Cloud and DevSecOps, delivering solutions including **AI/ML applications, data science platforms, blockchain, and microservices** for DoD, healthcare, and civilian agencies. --- ### Job Summary VivSoft is seeking an **Appian Developer** to support an upcoming project for **Criminal Justice Information Center (CJIC) Support Services**. You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance **Appian-based applications and workflows** supporting critical criminal justice operations. --- ### Key Responsibilities - Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into functional **Appian** application components. - Develop, maintain, and enhance code for the **automated expungement portal** and workflows within the **Appian CJIM** environment. - Integrate **third-party APIs** and provide sustainment support for Appian workflows. - Implement security best practices and compliance requirements identified by **AFOSI**. - Perform **unit testing** and collaborate with **Quality Assurance** to identify and resolve defects. - Participate in Agile ceremonies: **sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives**. - Collect, analyze, and present data for recurring and ad hoc analytical reports. - Prepare analytical responses for **Congressional inquiries, FOIA requests, and other data calls**. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements. - Support continuous improvement and application modernization efforts. --- ### Skills Required - **Active Secret clearance** - **3+ years** as an Application Developer - Strong, hands-on knowledge of the **Appian** platform - Experience integrating **third-party APIs** and building workflow automation solutions - Knowledge of **secure software development** practices - Experience working in an **Agile** development environment - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills --- ### Preferred - **Appian Developer Certification** - Experience supporting government or law enforcement systems - Familiarity with **CJIM**, criminal justice, or case management environments - Experience with workflow automation, business process management, and enterprise application integration --- ### Benefits - Comprehensive **Medical, Dental, and Vision** (healthcare benefits are **100% employer-paid** for employees) - **Life Insurance** - **Paid Time Off** (Flexible/Combined PTO, Bereavement Leave, **11 company-paid holidays**) - **401(k)** retirement plan with employer match - Professional development training and reimbursement --- ### Salary **$110K–$120K**
