**Lead AI/ML Engineer** **About the Role** Attain Talent is seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer to lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions supporting high-impact federal initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior technical leader who thrives at the intersection of AI, cloud engineering, and innovation. **Key Responsibilities** • Lead technical evaluations of emerging AI/ML technologies through prototypes and POCs • Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI/ML applications within AWS • Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for production use cases • Drive enterprise adoption of modern AI technologies and engineering best practices • Mentor engineers and support professional growth of junior team members • Collaborate directly with clients and cross-functional teams on mission-critical solutions • Present technical findings and architectural recommendations to leadership and federal customers **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field • 7-10 years of professional software or cloud engineering experience • 3+ years deploying production enterprise applications in AWS • 2+ years deploying production AI/ML applications in enterprise environments • Strong Python proficiency • Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch • Experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Hugging Face, or similar platforms • Data analysis experience with pandas and visualization with matplotlib • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills **Nice to Have** • Experience leading or managing engineering teams • LLM, Generative AI, RAG, or AI agent experience • MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipeline experience • DevSecOps and secure software development practices • Federal or mission-critical environment experience **Requirements** • U.S. Citizen • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 $180,000 - $230,000 USD annually ✓ Remote work (hybrid roles specified in post) ✓ Medical, Dental, Vision ✓ Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability ✓ 401(k) with 4% matching ✓ Liberal PTO policy ✓ Generous annual continuing education budget ✓ Annual wellness budget ✓ Bonus incentive programs **Equal Opportunity Employer** Attain Talent is committed to fair and equitable compensation and equal opportunity employment.
