**Systems Engineer (Mid)** **Overview** Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support complex GEOINT systems and capabilities across NSG, ASG, NRO, and Federal Agency environments. You’ll apply multidisciplinary engineering to requirements, solutions, integration, reliability/resiliency, services development, testing/evaluation, maintainability, scheduling, and technical analysis to deliver timely and accurate GEOINT capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct systems and requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test & evaluation, maintainability, and technical analysis across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments - Analyze and trace user requirements, architectures, procedures, and technical problems to identify opportunities to automate or improve systems and capabilities - Evaluate cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations to support effective systems and mission solutions - Develop solution designs based on requirements analysis, emerging technologies, and mission needs - Assist the Government in capturing and translating mission/customer needs into system and capability requirements and technical solutions - Support analysis and allocation of requirements to system architecture components and executing programs - Perform systems integration activities across complex technical environments - Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Courses of Action (CoAs), trade studies, and engineering assessments - Assist with strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management, and interface design **Location** - Fully onsite in **Chantilly or Springfield, VA** **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical/scientific field (or equivalent experience) - Equivalent experience may be substituted: - 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, or - 2 additional years of relevant experience with a non-STEM degree - **6+ years** relevant experience in government or industry, including experience with DoD/IC acquisition processes, requirements processes, PPBES processes, or systems engineering within large, complex System-of-Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments across cloud, on-premises, or hybrid infrastructures - **6+ years** systems engineering experience in government or industry - **Active TS/SCI clearance** (SCI eligibility) or ability to obtain SCI and successfully complete a polygraph - Demonstrated knowledge of the NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises - Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project experience - Previous IC or DoD program/project experience **Desired Qualifications** - Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages - Working knowledge of software development frameworks - INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification - Experience supporting geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) programs or missions - Membership or active participation in professional organizations such as: ACSM, ASCE, ASPRS, OGC, SAREM, USGIF - Working knowledge of photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, GIS, geomatics, or related disciplines **Peraton Overview** Peraton is a next-generation national security company and mission capability integrator/enterprise IT provider supporting government agencies and the U.S. armed forces.
