**About EarnIn** EarnIn is building products that deliver real-time financial flexibility for people living paycheck to paycheck—so community members can access their earnings as they earn them, with options to spend, save, and grow without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks. **Position Summary** We’re seeking an experienced, collaborative, and resourceful **Senior Full Stack Engineer** to join our team. Our **Early Bets** initiatives are critical to EarnIn’s success—creating new experiences and products for users in an environment where you’ll define technical solutions in ambiguity and partner closely with Product to refine requirements. **What You’ll Do** - Partner with Product and Design to define, build, and evolve user experiences across the full stack using modern frontend and backend technologies. - Own and evolve frontend and backend architecture to ensure scalability, performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. - Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using **React, TypeScript, and Next.js** (SSR, routing, data fetching, performance optimization). - Design and build robust backend services and APIs using **Python and Django**, focused on reliability, security, and scale. - Establish and uphold full stack engineering standards (patterns, tooling, testing strategies, CI/CD best practices). - Drive cross-team technical initiatives, aligning frontend and backend architecture with platform capabilities and product strategy. - Proactively identify technical risks and opportunities across the stack and provide clear technical direction and tradeoff analysis. - Mentor and guide engineers across frontend and backend disciplines to raise the bar on code quality, architectural thinking, and delivery practices. - Design and implement robust unit, integration, and end-to-end automation tests across the full stack. - Define and monitor full stack metrics (performance, reliability, user behavior) to inform product and technical decisions. **What We’re Looking For** - Bachelor’s (or higher, e.g., MS/PhD) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent technical experience. - Strong frontend proficiency: **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js**. - Backend proficiency: **Python and Django**, including RESTful/API design, data modeling, and service architecture. - Strong frontend architecture experience (state management, component design, design systems, performance optimization). - Experience designing and operating backend systems at scale (databases, caching, queuing, API integrations). - Experience building and operating production applications with both server-side and client-side rendering. - Deep understanding of software engineering best practices across the SDLC (testing, code reviews, observability, operational excellence). - **4+ years** of industry experience with meaningful depth across both frontend and backend. - Experience with cloud environments (**AWS, GCP, or Azure**). - Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLMs). **Location / Compensation** - Base salary range: **$195,821 - $279,825** plus equity and benefits. - **Remote (US)**.
