## Jr./Entry-Level Integration & Test Systems Engineer – Space Programs ### Overview Peraton is seeking a **Jr./Entry-Level Systems Engineer for Integration & Test (SEIT)** supporting a **NASA customer** at **Wallops Flight Facility (VA)**. As prime contractor on the **SENSE** contract, Peraton supports the operation, maintenance, sustainment, and systems engineering of NASA’s worldwide satellite communication networks. You’ll join a team supporting NASA missions including **return to the moon**, **earth and space science missions**, and **launch vehicles**, ensuring **reliable space-ground communications** that meet mission requirements. ### Responsibilities - Support development of **system requirements** and **interface documentation** - Develop and integrate **technology** for critical mission projects - Support, develop, and execute **test plans** and **system review packages** - Perform **system-level testing** with ground systems equipment for **end-to-end testing** in the **Ground Station Testing Facility (GSTF)** - Support **GSTF management** tasks involving **DTE hardware and software** - Support **orbital and launch operations** activities - Collaborate with **Operations, IT Security, Mission Assurance, and Task Order Leads** to meet program deliverables - Participate in study, design, development, integration, testing, verification, and operations of **spaceflight, airborne, and ground system hardware/software** (including validation of new technologies) ### Qualifications **Required** - **BS in an Engineering discipline** (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering) - **0–2+ years** of related academic or professional technical experience - Experience with **development, integration, and test (I&T)** within systems engineering - Experience with **test automation tools and practices**, including scripting (e.g., **C++, Python, MATLAB, Perl, UNIX**) - Experience with **Windows and Linux servers** (e.g., **RedHat, CentOS**) - Proficiency with **Microsoft Office** (PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Excel) - Ability to travel **up to several weeks each year** - **Public Trust** background check; ability to obtain/maintain **Secret clearance** - Must be a **US citizen** **Desired** - Software development and familiarity with scripting languages - Familiarity with **NASA/space/ground station antenna systems** and **satellite communications networks** - Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and ability to meet critical deadlines - Strong verbal and written communication skills (including presentations) - **Active Secret clearance** is a plus ### Peraton Overview Peraton is a national security company delivering mission capability integration and enterprise IT solutions across land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace.
