**Astranis — Avionics Integration Engineer** Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, providing dedicated, secure satellite communications for highly sophisticated customers worldwide—including large enterprises, sovereign governments, and the US military. ## What you’ll do - Develop and design automated hardware and software solutions to test and validate flight-worthy hardware - Debug complex vehicle electrical systems issues - Design PCBs to interface with flight hardware - Write object-oriented Python to control test equipment, custom hardware, and satellites - Improve integration and test processes to increase efficiency without compromising quality - Lead large, high-visibility test campaigns across multiple stakeholders (scheduling, work distribution, risk mitigation, and end-to-end execution) - Partner with the design team through qualification and acceptance - Contribute to inter-org mitigation efforts for system-level and unit-level issues - Help recruit, interview, and hire teammates for a rapidly growing team ## Requirements - B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent technical degree) - 1+ years of experience (or equivalent internship/project experience) - Strong electrical engineering fundamentals - Experience using electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies) - Experience debugging systems and circuits across hardware/software integration layers - Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, block diagrams, and more - Experience translating high-level requirements into clear design/test objectives - Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced, hands-on environment - Don’t meet every requirement?
