## Systems Administrator (USPS Contract) ### Responsibilities - Administer, install, and troubleshoot IT systems and issues - Perform system maintenance (backups, recovery, and file maintenance) - Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades and patches - Configure software and resolve technical problems - Monitor and maintain software licensing, certificate upgrades, and maintenance agreements - Oversee direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for staff efforts assigned to the role ### Qualifications **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years experience, **or** Master’s degree + 6+ years experience, **or** High school diploma/GED + 12+ years experience - U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder - Ability to obtain and maintain a **Public Trust** security clearance - Must have resided in the U.S. within the past five years with no more than six months outside travel during that period **Required / Preferred Technical Experience** - 7+ years as a system administrator for **J2EE / Oracle Application Express** for medium-to-complex application development projects - Working knowledge of **Java (J2EE)** (preferred) - 5+ years **Oracle Map Viewer** experience, including customizing client system options (e.g., Oracle Fusion Middleware) and seamless integration with Oracle database and middleware technologies - 5+ years expertise in **Tomcat, WebLogic, Linux server support, scripting, and AI tools** - Experience developing and maintaining system documentation (installation, maintenance, operating procedures) - Ability to set up **CI/CD pipelines** for automated deployment and testing - 2+ years **Jenkins CI/CD**, **Ansible automation**, and **GitHub** (source control) - 2+ years experience testing **Oracle Scan Listener** changes - 5+ years administering **Splunk, ColdFusion, Windows & Linux** - AppDynamics monitoring knowledge (preferred) - Experience troubleshooting deployments, configuring access permissions, and managing backups and recovery ### Peraton Overview Peraton is a next-generation national security company and a transformative enterprise IT provider delivering trusted solutions for government missions across land, sea, space, air, and cyberspace. ### Target Salary Range **$80,000 – $128,000** (typical range; final offer depends on factors including scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and location).
