## Sr Data Center Engineer - Lead ### Responsibilities - Serve as the senior technical authority for a defined DCCE domain (e.g., critical facilities, resiliency, or portfolio modernization). - Drive the multi-year technical roadmap and standards for the domain; provide design authority on major initiatives. - Represent DCCE at senior VA technical forums; brief senior VA leadership on strategy and outcomes. - Mentor Advisors and Lead Associates; guide the engineering practice’s technical maturity. ### Qualifications - Currently possess or be able to obtain **VA Public Trust – High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4** background investigation. - **10+ years** of related experience. - **Supervisory experience** (desired). ### Desired Skills, Tools & Certifications **Tools (examples):** Nlyte Asset Optimizer / Energy Optimizer (DCIM), ServiceNow (ITSM/CMDB), SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, PuTTY, Wireshark, PowerShell, Python, Power BI, MS Visio, SharePoint, plus AutoCAD and TileFlow familiarity. **Processes/Frameworks (examples):** ITIL v4, SAFe Agile/Scrum, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, OSHA safety practices. **Certifications (desirable):** PE (Electrical or Mechanical), BICSI RCDD, Uptime Institute ATD/ATS, EPI CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, LEED AP, CEM, ITIL v4 Foundation (Practitioner/Managing Professional a plus), SAFe Practitioner or SAFe DevOps. ### Work Location - **Austin, TX** ### Target Salary Range - **$112,000 – $179,000** (typical range; final offer depends on experience, education, location, and contract/business factors).
