## About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems—safe and beneficial for users and society. ## About the role Join Anthropic’s Commercial Legal team as a **Technical AI Implementation Specialist**. You’ll leverage **Claude and other technologies** to scale and improve the efficiency of legal operations. You’ll drive AI adoption across team workflows, optimize internal tooling, and lead cross-functional initiatives to increase productivity. ## Key responsibilities - Implement AI-powered solutions to streamline **contract review** and **redlining** - Manage integrations between existing legal systems and AI tools - Build automated self-service solutions for high-volume, low-touch contracting (e.g., **FAQ chatbots** and **guided workflows**) - Create AI-based tools for **commercial contract diligence** requests - Optimize **contract management platforms** with AI capabilities - Create and manage program plans (timelines, budgets, resource allocation) - Build and maintain **metrics dashboards** to track efficiency improvements - Establish practical **governance** processes for AI use in legal operations - Coordinate with **Engineering** and **Product** teams on solution development - Identify and mitigate risks/issues to ensure program success ## Minimum qualifications - Experience evaluating and implementing legal technology platforms (e.g., contract/workflow/document management) - Curiosity about AI/ML with hands-on experience using LLM tools (especially **Claude**) - Strong problem-solving skills; able to translate legal needs into scalable technical solutions - Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication with both technical and legal stakeholders - Self-directed; able to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously ## Preferred qualifications - 5+ years in legal operations, legal technology, or technical roles supporting legal teams - Technical aptitude with system integration - Familiarity with common LLM frameworks/tools (or background in ML/data science) - Strong verbal/written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - Proven project management skills (prioritization, deadlines, multi-project delivery) - Collaborative mindset; genuine interest in technology development and AI in fast-paced environments ## Logistics - **Work location (hybrid):** Expect to work from the **San Francisco or New York office at least 3 days/week** (flexibility may be possible for an interim period) - **Location-based hybrid policy:** Currently expect to be in an office at least **25% of the time** (some roles may require more) - **Minimum education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/training/experience - **Visa sponsorship:** Anthropic sponsors visas, though not for every role/candidate - **Compensation (annual salary):** **$170,000 – $220,000 USD** ## Safety note (scams) Anthropic recruiters only contact candidates from **@anthropic.com** email addresses (or vetted recruiting agencies that identify themselves).
