**Growth Engineer** **About Pika** Building the next generation of AI creative tools to empower human creativity. Mission: make video creation seamless, intuitive, and accessible to everyone using advanced AI. **The Role** Accelerate adoption and expansion of Pika's creative AI platform. Use technical expertise to identify, build, and optimize features, systems, and experiments that drive user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. Collaborate with product, design, marketing, and data teams on rapid, measurable growth initiatives. **What You'll Do** • Design, develop, and launch growth features and experiments • Implement scalable A/B tests and personalization strategies • Analyze data to discover growth levers and track strategy effectiveness • Work cross-functionally to prioritize and execute high-impact initiatives • Rapidly prototype and ship onboarding flows and engagement loops • Optimize performance, reliability, and UX for growth metrics • Contribute to virality, referral, and sharing capabilities • Advocate for data-driven, experimentation-focused engineering culture **Requirements** • 4+ years software engineering experience (product/growth teams preferred) • Proven record building and optimizing user-facing features • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data analysis • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Proficiency: Python, Go, Node.js, TypeScript, or similar • Familiarity with growth tools (Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, etc.) • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills **Nice to Have** • Generative AI, creative tools, or social platform experience • High-growth startup or rapid experimentation background • Open source, hackathon, or growth hacking experience **Stack** Python, Go, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP **What We Offer** • Competitive salary • Substantial equity in fast-growing startup • Comprehensive health benefits and stipends • Collaborative, high-growth culture • Hybrid in-office (Palo Alto, CA)
