Today, many healthcare experiences are still “one-size-fits-all”—Cedar is building technology to deliver a better, more personalized patient experience. ## The Role Join Cedar’s core product team building technology that helps patients understand, afford, and manage their healthcare costs. You’ll: - Drive innovation by experimenting with and launching **AI/ML-powered features**, including integrating **LLMs** into engineering workflows. - Help enhance an **AI chat agent** that provides personalized billing guidance with empathy and compassion. - Lead the design, development, and deployment of **full-stack patient experiences** that increase flexibility, confidence, and control. - Build and evolve a class-leading patient financial product used by **millions of patients annually**. - Collaborate closely with **product managers, designers, and partner engineering teams** to turn ambitious ideas into clear technical plans and production-ready software. - Shape team direction, coordinate complex development efforts, and **mentor peers**. ## Qualifications - Demonstrated proficiency in **independent, hands-on coding and problem-solving**, including handling complex edge cases, optimizing for efficiency, and delivering robust solutions under time constraints. - Genuine **full-stack experience** (e.g., **React/TypeScript** and **Python/Django** or comparable).
