Offices in Emeryville and Santa Clara, California. **About The Role:** A hands-on technical leadership position managing the full lifecycle of enterprise cybersecurity tools, technologies, and detection capabilities across a complex hi-tech manufacturing environment. You'll bridge strategic security direction with day-to-day technical execution, managing internal teams and external security vendors to deliver consistent protection across cloud, OT/ICS, endpoint, identity, and network domains. **Key Responsibilities:** • **Security Tool Management** — Own end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise security toolset; configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanners, and network visibility solutions • **Team Leadership & Vendor Management** — Lead internal staff and external vendors; conduct performance reviews and contract evaluations • **AWS Security & Cloud Posture** — Define cloud security best practices, enforce IAM least-privilege, manage VPC segmentation, WAF, and DDoS protection; embed security into CI/CD pipelines • **Threat Detection & Incident Response** — Lead threat-model-driven detection strategy; serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents • **OT/ICS & Manufacturing Security** — Conduct OT assessments, design network segmentation for OT/IT convergence, implement access controls for manufacturing systems • **Architecture & Standards** — Maintain architectural standards and reference architectures; partner with infrastructure teams to embed security from inception • **Policy, Compliance & Governance** — Develop security policies aligned to NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001; ensure audit-readiness **Required Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 8+ years progressive cybersecurity engineering; 2-3 years in technical lead/people management • Hands-on expertise with enterprise SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, Chronicle) • Deep knowledge of AWS security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config, IAM, VPC architecture) • Experience managing internal security engineers and external vendors/MSSPs • OT/ICS cybersecurity assessment experience in manufacturing/industrial environments strongly preferred • Threat modeling frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE) experience • Security automation with SOAR platforms and scripting (Python, PowerShell) • Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS, Security+, GIAC, PCNSE, or Splunk Certified Architect **Technical Skills:** SIEM/Detection (Splunk ES, Sentinel, Rapid7, Palo Alto) • AWS Security • Firewalls & IDS/IPS • Cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Okta, Azure AD) • OT/ICS tools (Dragos, Claroty, Nozomi) • PAM solutions • NAC platforms **Compensation:** Salary: $200,000–$260,000 USD + equity and benefits
