Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit—helping unlock new opportunities to advance science, exploration, and innovation. ## About the Team **Terrestrial Software** builds the foundation for an automated rocket factory and integrated launch platform. The mission is to automate and streamline workflows across the Terran R lifecycle—from raw material intake to launch operations and manufacturing on Mars. **Factory Platform** builds tools that power design and manufacturing operations. You’ll help engineers analyze test data, plan production schedules, manage supply chains, and make faster, better-informed decisions—spanning data pipelines through to front-end applications. ## About the Role As a **Full Stack Software Engineer II** on the Factory Platform team, you’ll build applications that directly support design and manufacturing engineers across the company. Projects may include: - Automating analysis of telemetry streaming from test stands - Building tools to streamline supply chain and production planning - Creating dashboards for real-time visibility into manufacturing operations You’ll participate in the full software development lifecycle—understanding requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions. You’ll work across the stack (responsive front-ends, scalable back-ends, and data pipelines) and iterate based on feedback from engineers and operators. ## About You - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace) - Strong CS foundations: data structures, algorithms, systems, and clean, testable code - 3+ years of professional software development experience (including internships/co-ops or substantial shipped projects) - Experience building web applications with modern frameworks and languages - Comfortable working across the full stack (front-end, back-end, and data layers) - Eager to learn new technologies/tools to solve real problems - Excited to work directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor ## Nice to Haves (Not Required) - Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks - Familiarity with data engineering tools and working with large datasets - Exposure to manufacturing, hardware, test and measurement systems, or other physical-world domains - Experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or analytics tools - Contributions to open-source or experience shipping products end-to-end ## Compensation & Benefits Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. - **Hiring Range:** **$130,000 — $196,000 USD** Relativity Space also offers competitive salary and equity, generous PTO and sick leave, parental leave, an annual learning & development stipend, and more. ## Equal Opportunity Relativity Space is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
