🚀 **Full Stack Software Engineer I — Relativity Space** Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. On the **Terran R** program, you’ll help develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up—solving problems that haven’t been solved before, with autonomy and real impact. --- ## About the Team **Terrestrial Software** builds the foundation for an automated rocket factory and integrated launch platform—automating workflows across Terran R’s lifecycle (from raw material intake to launch operations and beyond). **Factory Platform** focuses on tools that power design and manufacturing operations, including applications for analyzing test telemetry, planning production schedules, managing supply chains, and building dashboards for real-time visibility. --- ## About the Role As a **Full Stack Software Engineer I** on the Factory Platform team, you will: - Build applications that support **design and manufacturing engineers** across the company - Automate analysis of **telemetry streaming from test stands** - Create tools to streamline **supply chain and production planning** - Build dashboards that provide **real-time visibility** into manufacturing operations - Participate in the full SDLC: requirements → design → implementation → testing → deployment - Work across the stack: **responsive front-ends**, **scalable back-ends**, and **data pipelines** - Follow agile practices, write quality code with continuous integration/deployment, and iterate based on feedback from engineers and operators --- ## About You (Requirements) - **Bachelor’s degree or higher** in Computer Science or a related engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace) - Strong CS foundations: **data structures, algorithms, systems**, and **clean, testable code** - **1+ years** of professional software development experience (including internships/co-ops or substantial shipped academic/personal projects) - Experience building **web applications** with modern frameworks and languages - Comfortable working across the **full stack** (front-end, back-end, and data) - Eager to learn new technologies to solve real problems - Excited to work directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor --- ## Hiring Timeline Actively hiring for immediate openings. Candidates should be able to begin full-time employment within **30–60 days of applying** (or re-apply when they are within that window). --- ## Nice to Haves (Not Required) - Experience with **React** or other modern front-end frameworks - Familiarity with **data engineering tools** and working with large datasets - Exposure to **manufacturing, hardware, test & measurement**, or other physical-world domains - Experience building **dashboards, data visualizations, or analytics tools** - Contributions to **open-source** or experience shipping software products end-to-end --- ## Compensation & Benefits Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
