**Senior Manager - Network and Information Security** **About The Role:** Strategic leadership position responsible for architecting, building, and governing enterprise network and security infrastructure across a high-tech manufacturing environment. Blend deep technical expertise in network architecture, cloud networking (AWS), and cybersecurity with hands-on people management to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable connectivity. **What You'll Do:** • **Leadership & Team Management** – Lead and mentor network/security engineers; manage vendor relationships and SLAs; ensure 24/7 operational coverage • **Network Architecture** – Own enterprise network design (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, OT/IT segmentation); architect high-availability solutions; manage routing/switching and equipment lifecycle • **Cloud Networking** – Design and manage AWS constructs (VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, VPN); architect hybrid on-premises/cloud connectivity; optimize costs and performance • **Network Security** – Lead security policy design and enforcement (firewalls, ZTNA, NAC, micro-segmentation); manage security appliances; oversee vulnerability assessments and compliance (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001) • **Operations & Incident Management** – Lead day-to-day operations; serve as senior escalation point for incidents; oversee monitoring platforms; drive RCA investigations; manage SLA adherence • **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Act as primary liaison to IT leadership, OT engineering, and manufacturing teams; participate in capacity planning and vendor negotiations **What You'll Need:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience • 10+ years progressive network engineering; 3+ years in people management or technical lead role • Enterprise-grade network architecture experience in manufacturing/industrial/regulated environments • 5+ years hands-on AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, WAF, Security Groups) • Network security device management (NGFWs, IDS/IPS, NAC, CASB/SASE, Web Filtering) • Strong routing/switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MSTP, VLANs, QoS • Wireless network design experience (Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or equivalent) • Relevant certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, CISSP, CISM, Palo Alto PCNSE, AWS Solutions Architect, ITIL v4 **Technical Skills:** Cisco (IOS-XE/XR/NX-OS), Palo Alto, Juniper, Meraki, Fortinet, AWS VPC/Transit Gateway/Direct Connect, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, NAC, Vulnerability Scanners, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP/MSTP, VXLAN, DMVPN, MPLS, 802.1x, QoS, Enterprise Wi-Fi 6/6E, WPA3 **Compensation:** Salary: $200,000–$280,000 USD (plus equity and benefits) **Location:** Emeryville and Santa Clara, California
