## Forward Deployed Engineer ### TL;DR The next wave of stablecoin adoption is in payments. We’re building a **stablecoin clearinghouse** to make stablecoins move like money—not a trading asset. We’re looking for a **Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)** who works at the boundary between us and our customers. ### What You’ll Do - **Own the full integration lifecycle** with customers and partners—from initial scoping and technical design through implementation, testing, and go-live. - **Connect customers to our product:** digest, triage, and scope customer needs into actionable product input that shapes what we build next. - **Design and build integration enablement**: shared tooling, SDKs, and documentation to make integrating with us fast and painless. - **Debug production issues across system boundaries**—when something breaks between us and a partner, you’re the first responder. ### What We’re Looking For - **3+ years** building and shipping integrations with payment systems, financial infrastructure, and/or banking partners. - You’ve been the person on the **other end of the API**—you know what good (and bad) integration experiences feel like. - **Excellent communication skills**: translate between engineering-speak and customer-speak without losing fidelity. - You thrive in **ambiguity** and treat lack of specificity as an opportunity for ownership. - Preferred (not required): experience building with **stablecoins and/or blockchains**. ### Our Values - **Be offended by the status quo** — a payment taking 3 days and costing 3% is offensive. - **Be all over it** — operate with urgency and accountability; know the numbers and answer every email. - **We sell trust** — security and integrity are non-negotiable. - **Do the dishes** — be an owner; put ego aside and get things done. - **Be the glue** — be direct, helpful, and assume positive intent. - **We enjoy the crucible** — optimistic about changing money, especially when the journey is hard. ### Benefits - Competitive salary and equity - Comprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision) - Unlimited vacation - Periodic off-sites - Daily lunch provided ### Equal Opportunity Employment The Better Money Company is an **equal opportunity employer**.
