**TL;DR** The next wave of stablecoin adoption is payments. We’re building a **stablecoin clearinghouse** to help stablecoins move like money—not a trading asset. **About Us** We’re a small, scrappy team based in **NYC**, backed by **$10M** (including **a16z Crypto** and other partners). We believe stablecoins can become the backbone of better payments, and we’re fixing the structural problems that slow adoption—starting with building a clearinghouse. **What You’ll Do** - Design, build, and scale components of our **fiat money movement clearing system** - Build integrations with **banks, stablecoin issuers, custodians, and other partners** - Design and build core product functionality for **better stablecoin payments** **What We’re Looking For** - **5+ years** building payment systems, financial infrastructure, and/or banking integrations - Experience scaling a payment system **0→1** and ideally **1→10** - Deep understanding of **fiat payment rails** (ACH, wires, RTP, etc.) - Strong fundamentals in **distributed systems** - Ability to balance **shipping quickly** with building **robust, scalable** systems - Thrives in ambiguity—sees lack of specificity as an opportunity for ownership **Our Values** - **Be offended by the status quo** (e.g., a payment taking 3 days and costing 3% is unacceptable) - **Be all over it** (urgency, accountability, know the numbers, meet the right people) - **We sell trust** (security and integrity are non-negotiable) - **Do the dishes** (owners mindset—get it done) - **Be the glue** (be direct, helpful, assume positive intent, win as a team) **Benefits** - Competitive salary and **equity** - Comprehensive insurance (**medical/dental/vision**) - **Unlimited vacation** - Periodic off-sites - **Daily lunch provided** **Equal Opportunity Employment** The Better Money Company is an equal opportunity employer.
