Striveworks was built to solve the problem of AI models that perform in testing but degrade in real-world use—so trust doesn’t fall when performance drops. As a **Junior Front-End Engineer**, you’ll design and implement **UI/UX components** for core products. You’ll collaborate with **UX designers, data scientists, and software engineers** to solve complex problems and deliver high-impact solutions. ### What you’ll build - UI/UX components for Striveworks’ core products - Interfaces that help sustain trusted AI systems in real-world use ### What it’s like here - Lead with trust and treat each other with respect - Use candor consistently, kindly, and constructively - Take ownership and care deeply about doing the work well ### What we’re looking for - Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field **or** completion of a software development boot camp with **0–2 years** relevant experience - Strong proficiency in **TypeScript** and modern **JavaScript** (language fundamentals, async programming, modern front-end practices) - Familiarity with **UI/UX**, design patterns, and styling with **CSS** - Experience building web applications with **React** - Experience integrating **REST APIs** into front-end applications - Experience with **Git** and modern development workflows - Familiarity with component frameworks like **Material UI** (or similar) - Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn - **US person required** (US citizen, US national, or Green Card holder) **Nice to have (not required):** - Personal/academic/open-source projects demonstrating software development - **GraphQL**, **Next.js**, **Node.js** - React Query/TanStack, Axios, Context API, styled-components - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), automated testing, CI/CD - Familiarity with **Python** or **Golang** - Experience with containerized/cloud deployments (Docker/Podman/Kubernetes) - Passion for discussing and creating mocks in **Figma** - Eligibility and willingness to obtain/maintain a **Secret (or above) US security clearance** ### Location / work environment - **Hybrid/on-site** at the office in **Austin, TX** ### Compensation & benefits - Anticipated base pay range: **$100,000–$130,000/year** - Total compensation includes competitive base salary, **equity grants**, and **cash bonuses** **Benefits include:** - Medical/dental/vision insurance - Voluntary life, long-term disability, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance - HSA and FSA (including dependent care FSA) - 401(k) plan - Unlimited PTO - Paid parental leave ### Ready to apply? **Ready to build systems that work for a mission that matters?
